Hallsberg


The railway junction with one of Europe´s largest marshalling yards. In Hallsberg can be found one of Sweden´s largest container terminals which can offer amongst other things: 3rd party logistics services, container handling, procurement of transport solutions and Sweden´s largest dryport. Thanks to the railway and the fact that the county has large areas of land ready and available has led to the establishment of many logistics dependent companies. Freight trains for containers to different parts of Sweden and Germany several times a day.

Kumla


Kumla has a many facet trade and industry which takes advantage of Kumla´s geographic position. In Kumla there is a growing business activity with everything from electronics and engineering industries to shoe and food industries. In the county are also a number of companies who work with transport and warehousing. Kumla also has a unique position in Sweden with relation to the handling and destruction of hazardous waste.

Örebro


The Logistics Region´s capital. Here meet the roads from all points of the compass. Around highways E18 and E20 new distribution centers and logistics related activities have been established. Sweden´s 4th largest freight airport can be found, and is a natural extension of the road system. The university and schools offer education in logistic related topics. In Örebro there are also strong 3rd and 4th part logistic providers. Örebro county council has building sites ready for companies involved in logistics and distribution. From 10 000 m2 up to 100 000 m2. Freight railway peddle between Örebro and Gothenburg.

Arboga


The gateway to Mälaren Valley. North of Mälaren the Mälaren Railway and E18. South of Mälaren is the Svealand Railway, and E20. In Arboga it is possible to choose the northern or southern routes in to Stockholm. A result of the armed services presence in Arboga has led to competence in warehousing and distribution that requires high security. A long tradition of warehousing and distribution has led to there being a number of the country´s leading service companies in technology and logistic automation. The county council has established a new expansion zone specifically for logistics, with industrial and development approval. The Swedish Armed Forces has their central distribution center and warehouse in Arboga.
